Digitalisation

Audit Yorkshire and 360 Assurance arranged a half day session to provide strategic and operational updates on key topics on the digitalisation agenda.

We were pleased to hear from the following speakers:

• Gordon Elder (Regional Chief Nursing Information Officer for NHS North East & Yorkshire, NHS England) - Gordon  provided a general overview of how technology is enabling the virtual ward, future possibilities and risks.
• Maria Riley (Director of transformation at Joined Up Care Derbyshire ICS) -This session covered Lessons from Derbyshire: the design and implementation of a digital electronic project management office (ePMO) solution for an Integrated Care System.
• Matthew Lutkin (Cyber Security Principal Consultant, NHS England) - Matthew discussed the new Cyber Security Strategy which is due out imminently and what it means for both ICBs and Trusts as well as what NHS organisations can be doing to improve their cyber security.
• Richard Slough (Assistant Director of BI, Clinical Systems and IT at Leeds Community Healthcare Trust). This session covered an operational view of how an NHS organisation defends against a world of cyber threats.

This event was held virtually via Microsoft Teams on the afternoon of the 9th March 2023 (1.15-4pm).
