NHS Clinical Commissioners

NHS Clinical Commissioners is an independent membership organisation of clinical commissioning groups. They have provided a checklist for Lay Member induction on their website. They are involved in the development of regional networks.

KPMG Board Leadership Centre

The KPMG Leadership Centre delivers a number of seminars and has resources available on line. This also links through to their Audit Committee Institute on which they have a video available that addresses becoming an Audit Committee member.

NED Works

NED Works is a network for Non-Executive Directors, Trustees and Governors of PLCs, Limited Companies, NHS Trusts, Housing Associations, Social Enterprises, Charities, Colleges and Schools. It is a member forum.

In affiliation with the Financial Times they also offer a Non-Executive Diploma over a period of six months.
