Christmas Jumper Day
On Friday 13th December Audit Yorkshire joined millions of other people to take part in Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day. Here are a few members of our team wearing their festive jumpers!
The donations help to keep children healthy and safe, and provide an education. To read stories, see here: https://www.savethechildren.org.uk/christmas-jumper-day/how-you-help
By taking part, we raised £71 which Save the Children can use to help children build a better future:
- £1 could buy a set of pencils to help a children write and learn
- £2 could pay for antibiotics for eight children
- £5 could buy a winter jacket
- £20 could provide a mother and newborn baby with vital supplies
- £60 could provide educational toys and books to support children from low income families in the UK
As well as wearing our festive jumpers, team members took part in the ''Pin the Nose on James Blunt' and the 'Coach Christmas Sweeptstake' game. Well done to our winners!
We also took the opportunity to exchange our Secret Santa presents on this day and to spread the festive cheer even further and some members of staff went for a lovely Christmas dinner.
